TYPros is looking for Tulsa artists age 21-40 to participate in the seventh annual Next / Now Art Show. Artwork will be chosen on September 25 and will be displayed in the gallery for one week at Living Arts of Tulsa, 307 East Brady Street., with a reception on October 4. The theme for this year’s show is Think Outside the Box. This is a chance for young professionals to show off their talent and creativity.

Submission Details

Submitting work:
Artwork will be submitted via e-mail (only one piece of art per e-mail). Each submission should include the artist’s name, phone number, e-mail, title of the piece, media, price (if available for sale) and a 50-150 word statement of work. Artists may submit up to five pieces for consideration. Please e-mail the information and a picture of the artwork (maximum file size: 1 MB) to shagahzakerion@typros.org.

A panel of experienced jurors from Living Arts of Tulsa will judge all art.

When accepted artwork is delivered, each piece must be ready to hang with wire or d-rings and framed if appropriate. The artist must provide any special equipment required.

TYPros and Living Arts of Tulsa are not responsible at any time for the loss, damage or theft of artwork. Submission of artwork constitutes an agreement on the part of the artist to the conditions set forth in this prospectus and shall further include permission to reproduce work for publication.

Inclusion in the Next/Now art show does not constitute an endorsement of the artists’ work by Living Arts of Tulsa.

If someone is interested in purchasing your art piece, you will be contacted. The artist will be responsible for the sale, including transfer of the artwork to the purchaser; however, artwork must be displayed at Living Arts of Tulsa for the duration of the show.
