To identify and address issues that affect YPs and the future growth of Tulsa.

Crew members organize a YP Day at the Capitol in OKC; host candidate meet-and-greets; host education events; inform TYPros members and other YPs about voting opportunities; and encouragement involvement.

2012 Work Crew Goals
Increase YP’s awareness, education and engagement in legislative priorities through:
• Annual Day at the Capital event in OKC and host a Day at the City in Tulsa
• Increased involvement and partnerships with civic leaders, such as the Mayor’s Office, Tulsa City Council, and state legislators
• Hosting candidate and incumbent meet-and-greets & forums
• Dynamic collaboration with YPs regarding political involvement opportunities, including the regional OneVoice legislative process
• Track, publicize and advocate legislation that affects YPs
• Beneficial partnering with other TYPros' service crews and civic-minded organizations in our community
* Providing an inclusive, public, regional political calendar

Increase YP’s activity in political processes by:
• Encouraging and promoting voter registration and voter education

And other community-wide service including…

• Licensure and logistical support for TYPros' annual Street CReD event
* Full support and engagement with our TYPros' Community Partner
• Connecting with relevant and impactful volunteer opportunities through Volunteer Tulsa
