The Forge is a place where raw ideas and passionate Tulsans are shaped into successful, sustainable businesses.

Whether you're just starting out or if you've been in business for awhile, you know running a business is no easy task. So many decisions to make…. Where do you focus your time and effort? How do you get the funding needed to grow? Who can you trust to help you?

The Forge is a place where your ideas, your dreams, your innovations can take shape. We provide a trusted environment and a network of people and information needed to avoid the pitfalls small but growing businesses face. The Forge features space for eight business tenants who are provided with physical space and office support services at a low-cost.

Tenant selection criteria

• Company is owned by a young professional (under 40) or offers a product that appeals to the young professional demographic
• Company is in start-up or early stage of its lifecycle
• The Forge will not house these professional services: physicians, attorneys, accountants and realtors.
• The facility is an office space and is not conducive to operations in retail, food prep, packaging or manufacturing, but can be a headquarters location for these types of businesses.

The tenant selection process
It is expected that The Forge will attract many entrepreneurs. To ensure tenants match the objectives of the organization and are ready for the assistance it provides, a selection process is in place.

Steps in the process include:

• Completion of the online application below
• Initial notification that the business idea/plan meets criteria
• Interview with the selection committee
• Notification of acceptance or rejection
