TYPROS Sustainability: Master Gardening with Master Gardeners

If you've ever taken a stroll down Brookside or around the Blue Dome District and noticed the beautiful potted flowers, you were enjoying the work of Tulsa's Master Gardeners, a volunteer-based program sponsored by OSU's Cooperative Extension Program. Our featured speaker from the Master Gardener program will introduce you to their program, the classes and services they provide, and give tips and tricks for maintaining your own garden. Of course, there will also be time for questions at the end!

TYPROS Arts & Entertainment: Night at Winterfest

The time has come to bundle up and enjoy the magical spirit of the holidays as Tulsa's favorite winter festival returns to downtown Tulsa. Named by People Magazine as the top holiday destination in Oklahoma, Arvest Winterfest presented with CommunityCare will be open from Friday, November 19 through Monday, January 3. This year, ice skating returns back outside BOK Center on Third Street. The Arts & Entertainment Crew has a few free tickets to share, so join us for a night of fun on skates on Thursday December 30th.

Register in advance and meet Arts & Entertainment Crew Leader, Khalil, outside the gate on Third Street at 6 p.m. to receive your ticket and meet up with the crew!

TYPROS Business Development: Holiday Party

It's been an interesting year with plenty of twists and turns. Business Development Crew has been hard at work making sure as things open back up we are getting out and reconnecting again. With the holidays approaching, we wanted to say thank you to all of the people who have attended our events and welcome those who are interested in getting more involved!

This year we will be throwing our December EOY party at Pearl Beach Brew Pub. We are aiming to have this be a blend of both inside and outside in order to maintain flexibility with COVID precautions. Masks are highly recommended inside.

Free to attend and we'll have a limited bar tab. Once that runs out it'll switch over to a cash bar for all you thirsty movers and shakers.

The Boomtown Awards is TYPROS' premier celebration to recognize and honor those in our city who further our mission of making Tulsa awesome. This year’s theme is Boomtown’s Finest, where we’ll celebrate the legacy of young professionals in Tulsa and their mark on our city’s past, present and future. Join us for an evening honoring the individuals, organizations and businesses that make Tulsa exceptional.


In addition to being one of Tulsa’s liveliest award galas, the Boomtown Awards is also TYPROS’ largest annual fundraiser benefitting the TYPROS Foundation. Since 2015, the TYPROS Foundation has provided catalytic funding for placemaking projects that engage young people across our city. This year, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Tulsa’s darkest hour, the TYPROS Foundation is dedicating its entire 2021 grant cycle exclusively to projects focused on Black Wall Street and the Historic Greenwood District. Join us at the Boomtown Awards on November 5th to learn which projects are this year’s grant recipients!
